This variety is an anemone type, 4+ feet tall. Beautiful, productive, however, it’s highly recommended for event works. Harvest bloom early to prevent petals from falling off too soon. Harvest much earlier than the stage presented in this photo as you may only have a couple days before the petals fall off.

Note: 2022 was the worst year for this poor cultivar. Pests (rabbits and groundhogs took turns eating them to the ground early on; they recovered, put out some blooms but due to the heat, the blooms are more yellow/less desirable compared to their more blush petals when the temperatures are cooler. Plenty of tubers were produced—which we’re hoping to share, HOWEVER, the power outage during the Christmas of 2022 storm froze most of this cultivar, whatever we have left need recovering; so we’re rebuilding stocks for hopefully 2024 offerings).
