Araluen Leatrice is a new to us in 2022. She is around 4+ feet tall. Mid-season bloomer. She has the most gorgeous cotton candy formal decorative blooms. One of our IG readers states that it’s bred by an Australian hybridizer, which makes it even more interesting. This is a rare cultivar. Most likely you won’t find it in any other places. We’ve been trying to do cuttings just in case “things happened” and knowing our luck in 2022, “things really happened and not in such a great way either”. Araluen Leatrice does not tolerate propagation well. If anything, we’ll list a very limited quantity until more stocks can be built in 2023. Our goal is to spread this cultivar out into the world but it'll take times. We’ve been speaking to an avid “rare cultivars” collector and we both seem to be on the same page about spreading these harder to find cultivars out just in case “life happened” and they go extinct, which we’re hoping to avoid.
