Giraffe is an heirloom cultivar. We’ve been trying to track her down for several seasons and finally were able to grow her in 2023. She’s hard to come by, perhaps due to the nature of her growing habit. If she likes the spot you put her in, she’ll thrive, if not, you may need to try again. At least, that’s our case. She’s a shorter plant, perhaps around 3.5 feet tall at most. She’s both whimsical and unique in coloring and leaves patterns. It’s a fun cultivar to observe as she makes her presence known throughout the season. A moderate bloomers and ok tuber producer. She does better in a more moist (not wet) growing area. Hates the dry condition. Does quite well in storage in our experience.
